NGO MediAccess, launched in May last year, has been healing the bodies and souls of neighbors around the world, following Jesus’ call to “follow me” (Matthew 16:24) — crossing mountains and seas with stethoscopes in hand. Representative Kim Byung-soon expressed heartfelt gratitude to Onnuri Church and its members when reflecting on the birth and ministry of NGO MediAccess.
“Last year was a time of ‘labor pains’ as we sought to place the 40-year legacy of Onnuri Church’s medical mission work into the broader and more professional framework of an NGO. We focused on establishing the legal and administrative foundation necessary to be recognized by the international community as a relief organization and built an organic system connecting six committees, eight medical teams, and seven support teams. The greatest reason and asset for the founding of NGO MediAccess lie in the medical professionals from diverse fields who lay down their names and unite their hearts solely for the kingdom of God. We will continue to seek together whether this ministry truly pleases God. Without the interest and love of our coworkers, Onnuri Church, and its members, NGO MediAccess could not have been born.”
Representative Kim added that NGO MediAccess aims to become a comprehensive medical mission platform, going beyond being merely a medical volunteer organization.
