Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of services provided by MediAccess.

Article 1: Purpose

These Terms ("Terms") set forth the rights, duties, and responsibilities between MediAccess (hereinafter referred to as "MediAccess") and users regarding the use of internet-related services (hereinafter "Services") provided by MediAccess, as well as other necessary provisions.

Article 2: Definitions

  • (1) "Services" refer to all internet-related services provided by MediAccess through various wired or wireless devices such as PCs, TVs, and mobile devices, regardless of the accessing device.
  • (2) "Users" include both members and non-members who access and use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
  • (3) "Members" are individuals who have entered into a user agreement with MediAccess and have been assigned a user ID.
  • (4) "Non-members" are individuals who use the Services without registering as Members.
  • (5) "Supporters" are donor members who make regular or occasional donations to participate in MediAccess programs.
  • (6) Terms not defined herein shall be governed by relevant laws and MediAccess policies.

Article 3: Effectiveness and Amendments

  • (1) These Terms shall become effective upon posting on the service homepage.
  • (2) MediAccess may amend these Terms within the bounds of applicable laws such as the Framework Act on Telecommunications and the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce upon reasonable grounds.
  • (3) Amendments shall be announced at least 7 days prior to their effective date on the homepage along with the current Terms.
  • (4) Amended Terms shall apply only to contracts entered into after the effective date; prior contracts shall be governed by the then-current Terms.
  • (5) Users agree to regularly check the Terms and accept changes by continued use of the Services beyond the effective date.
  • (6) Members who do not agree may terminate their membership before the amendment takes effect.

Article 4: Services Provided

The Services include but are not limited to:

  • a) Donation application
  • b) Volunteer participation
  • c) Supporter management
  • d) Document and multimedia resources
  • e) Organizational news and email notifications
  • f) Open platform services such as blogs and clubs
  • g) Any other services designated or developed by MediAccess

MediAccess may add, change, or discontinue services as needed.

Article 5: Service Availability

  • (1) Services are available 24/7 unless technical or operational issues arise.
  • (2) Service interruptions for maintenance will be notified in advance.

Article 6: Fees

  • (1) Services are free to all registered members.
  • (2) Should any service become chargeable, MediAccess will announce this policy and cost prior to implementation.

Article 7: Registration

Users must provide accurate information and agree to these Terms to register. MediAccess reserves the right to deny registration for reasons including but not limited to falsified information or legal violations.

Article 8: Termination and Suspension

Members may terminate their membership at any time via the account settings. Donor members wishing to stop donations must separately notify MediAccess.

Articles 9-11: Donation Application and Payment

Applicants must provide donor information, select donation type, input detailed donation information, and select a payment method (credit card, bank transfer, mobile, or online payments).

Donation applications are confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation message from MediAccess.

Article 12: Use of Donations

Donations shall be used pursuant to MediAccess's founding purpose and articles of association.

Donation usage is audited annually by an accounting firm and disclosed transparently on the website.

Articles 13-15: Service and Member Obligations

The Services shall be provided continuously and stably except for unavoidable circumstances.

Members shall not:

  • • Provide false information
  • • Misuse others' information
  • • Alter MediAccess postings
  • • Violate intellectual property rights
  • • Post obscene or violent content

Article 16: Copyright

All copyrights and intellectual property rights on the site belong to MediAccess.

Users shall not use such materials for commercial or non-commercial purposes or allow third parties without prior consent.

Articles 17-19: Advertising, Liability, and Dispute Resolution

Advertising revenue partially supports service provision.

MediAccess is not liable for damages resulting from users' transactions or communications with advertisers.

Services are exempt from liability due to force majeure.

Disputes are resolved primarily by mutual agreement; litigation falls under the jurisdiction of courts where MediAccess is located.

These Terms apply from July 1, 2025.
